Retainer clients go to the front of the queue. No waiting in line, no chasing for updates. Dedicated Trello board for Starter and Pro clients giving full visibility of what is in progress, what is coming and what has been completed. Bi-weekly estimates so you always know how hours are being used. A team that understands your store's codebase, not a different developer each time who needs to get up to speed.

Checkout failures, payment gateway issues, critical app conflicts: anything actively stopping customers from buying gets handled fast. Retainer clients receive emergency cover at their standard retainer rate. While Shopify manages the core checkout, problems often originate elsewhere in the stack and that is where we step in.
Common questions about Shopify support
Yes. We work with Shopify stores built by other agencies. We audit the codebase first to understand what we are working with, then agree a clear scope for ongoing support.
Retainer clients are prioritised and go to the front of the queue for all requests. For critical emergencies, retainer clients receive a fast response at their standard retainer rate. Ad hoc emergency cover is also available for non-retainer stores.
Hour rollover is available on the Retainer Pro plan only. Unused hours carry over up to twice your monthly allocation. The Starter retainer does not include rollover.
All retainer plans run on a 30-day rolling basis. Cancel or adjust with 30 days notice. Upgrades to a higher plan are possible subject to availability. No long-term contracts.

It depends on how much work you need each month. If you have consistent ongoing development needs, a retainer gives you better rates, priority access, and hour rollover. If your needs are more sporadic, ad hoc suits you better. Not sure? Get in touch and we will help you decide.
Yes. We handle transitions from other agencies regularly. We audit the existing setup, agree a handover plan and make sure nothing falls through the gap in between.
